Reggie Bush turned some heads in his preseason victory over the Tennessee Titans Saturday but it wasn't his moves on the field the NFL was watching.

The NFL didn't like the fact that Reggie was wearing his new Adidas cleats. The league only allows players to wear Nike or Reebok shoes during games because of a marketing partnership.

Bush was fined $10,000 but later told the press "Adidas took care of it"

Bennett Traded to Cheifs

The New Orleans Saints traded Michael Bennett to the Kansas City Cheifs today for an undisclosed choice in the 2007 NFL draft.

Saints Ink Strief

The New Orleans Saints inked T Zach Strief, the first of the club's two seventh round selections in the 2006 NFL Draft, on a three-year contract. Strief, who was selected 210th overall by the Saints, is the fourth of the club's eight draft choices to agree to terms with the club.

Offense Meets Defense

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Donte' Stallworth and cornerback Mike McKenzie spent the weekend assisting youth in the New Orleans area. The hosted the Offense Meets Defense Charity Weekend at the Saints facility in Metairie.

Friday, high school-age players came to the club's indoor facility to get football instruction from Stallworth, McKenzie and volunteer coaches which included a few players from LSU.

Football wasn't the only thing the players learned as they also got classroom time in order to improve their studies and prepare for standardized college prep tests such as the SAT and ACT.
